- DG Regional and Urban Policy,  the largest and oldest mandate: independent advice, capacity building and implementation support to public authorities and final beneficiaries in 16 EU Member States  to help prepare high quality major projects, from identification to submission of the request for EU grant finance. Organization also provides the Member States with independent appraisals (Independent Quality Review) of project proposals prior to their notification to the Commission.

During the year, seven Member States requested Organization' assistance in CEF-financed projects: Bulgaria, Croatia, Greece, Hungary, Romania, Slovakia and Slovenia.
