JASPERS' Stakeholders meetings are restricted to the public.

Budapest, 7-8 April 2011: third Stakeholders meeting. The specific objective of this year's meeting was to identify measures to better assist countries/managing authorities/final beneficiaries in improving the quality of submissions as well as streamlining the application process.

Brussels, 25 March 2011: annual meeting between JASPERS and DG REGIO Geographical Units, attended by representatives of all the Geographical Units, the Financial Engineering Unit, the Evaluation Unit, and representatives of DG Environment and DG Move. The meeting focussed on the timing and the quality of applications, key EIA issues, best practice sharing, the impact of the appraisal process on the project itself, and on the alternatives to the use of interruption letters.

Prague, October 2010: meeting of the Visegrad countries, plus Slovenia, organised by the Czech authorities with JASPERS and the Commisssion, as a follow-up to the 17 June Stakeholders meeting in Sofia.

Sofia, 17 June 2010: JASPERS' Stakeholders meeting with the beneficiary countries. The objective of this meeting was to identify measures to better assist countries, to enable more rapid absorption of the Structural Funds as well as to obtain feedback about the way forward for JASPERS. Two main themes were covered: reducing time for submission and approval of grant applications and the new strategic outlook for JASPERS

Brussels, 8 June 2010: meeting between JASPERS and DG-ENV representatives to increase mutual awareness and to share methodologies and criteria of project analysis.

Brussels, 1 June 2010: meeting between JASPERS and DG Regional Policy Geographical Units to discuss key issues in the areas of information sharing, value added of JASPERS, reducing time for approval of grant applications and the future direction of JASPERS.
